The Eureka rebellion is a historical event with great resonance in Australian society. Eureka was a catalyst that fired our growth as a nation and remains a touchstone of our identity, continually invoked across the political spectrum.

The Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka (M.A.D.E) brings this historical event into a contemporary context. M.A.D.E is igniting debate about what it means to be an Australian in the 21st Century. Business, education and tourism partners have joined Federal, Victorian and Local Government to support M.A.D.E as an online platform and immersive museum with a refreshing approach to culture, civics, history and citizenship.
