Project development consultant

David Miller is a Ballarat-based consultant in project development and management. He studied politics and sociology at the Ballarat College of Advanced Education (now Federation University Australia) and urban studies at Swinburne Institute in Melbourne. David was employed as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of Steve Bracks, Premier of Victoria. Prior to this he worked for 10 years for the City of Ballarat, initially as Director of Economic Development, then subsequently as General Manager, City and Cultural Development. David’s is currently a member of the Committee for Regional Development Australia (RDA) Grampians which advises the Federal and State Governments on regional development. He is also a member of the Ballarat Fine Art Gallery Association, the National Gallery of Victoria, the Ballarat Arts Foundation, Ballarat Arts Alive, the Australian Film Institute, the Ballarat Old Colonists’ Association and the Melbourne Football Club.
