M.A.D.E's school holiday activities are ideal for children aged 4 -12 years. This season's theme is Decision Making and the program features:
Yes, No, Maybe Craft Activity
Children will literally have a ball as they design their own fortune-telling device in M.A.D.E’s craft room. Once colourfully decorated and constructed, ask it questions and this fun little object will decide your destiny. Are you prepared for what it might say?
Young listeners will be captivated with an interactive ‘choose your own adventure’ tale, where the audience decides what happens next. With plenty of plot twists and turns, the story will never be the same twice and can be recreated again and again.
The Possibility Path
Designed to take children through a maze of different words, pictures and objects, this self-guided worksheet will give school holiday visitors the choice of how to explore the exhibition and get them making decisions about what to see and where to head next.
Cafe' M is offering a $5 cookie and juice-box special for the duration of the holidays and each participant who completes the program can add their name to the draw for a chance to win one of three prize packs containing a selections books, toys and games from the M.A.D.E gift shop.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
All school holiday activities are free upon admission to the Museum.
Admission to M.A.D.E is free to all Ballarat residents.
* Storytime sessions are at 11am and 2pm.
